The Truth about Face Lifts and Facial Fillers |
Written by Randy Alvarez show host of The Wellness Hour Don’t ruin that face! Many doctors have told me, the goal of most patients is to look younger, refreshed or look great for their age, but more importantly to look natural. So what is the truth about face lifts, facial fillers and lasers etc? I will tell you what to look for in a surgeon that is doing low down time face lifting, or a full face lift and what to look for when considering any type of facial rejuvenation but first we need to discuss the aging face and what makes it look young! Let’s start with an 18 year old person, think of the brows, they are not high or highly arched; the face has a few wrinkles but the mid face around the nose is plump. The neck is firm but not tight or if a double chin exists, it’s a little fatty bulge under the chin. The area over the eyes, above the eye lids are not hollow. |

Good doctors don’t have to advertise! |
Written by Randy Alvarez show host of The Wellness Hour The Leader in Medical News and Information Healthcare advertising, promotion and public relations have been my specialty for more than a decade. My television talk show the Wellness Hour airs throughout the United States and Canada in over 48 million homes. All of our episodes have the same theme. The show is about health care options, not why a particular doctor is better than others. We aim to inform the public about advances in health care. A doctor once told me that when the Wellness Hour comes to town it becomes a better place. This is due to the fact that when patients are exposed to cutting edge treatment options, new and different advanced care treatment that they have not been introduced to before, they begin to expect more from their doctors. |

Wellness and The Law of Attraction |
Written by Randy Alvarez CEO and Founder of The Wellness Hour I am a firm believer that what you think about expands in your life. I also believe that what you expect you tend to manifest. People are likely to move along the path of their expectations. If you want to have a great life experience, expect great things! If you want to improve anything in your life, seek coaches who are experiencing the results you wish to have and do what they do. Raise your expectations of what's possible in your life. In a recession or in tough economic times, it is important to stay positive. I believe in keeping up with world news but also to have a healthy mix of positive news. You can never have too much positive programming. Adopt a winning philosophy. |

Written by Randy Alvarez / CEO and Founder of The Wellness Hour There is no doubt about it; newscasts are filled with negative stories. My friend Brian Christie, a well known news anchor, best known for being the first news anchor on CNN, tells me that most half-hour newscast are about eight minutes worth of news and the rest is sports, the weather and commercials. Of those 8 minutes, 90% of what is being reported is negative or bad news. I believe that what you think about tends to expand in your life. The most successful people I know are very careful about the information, television or printed news, they expose themselves to. I believe in the power of positive thinking and the law of attraction, what you think about or focus on, you attract into your life. If when driving down the freeway you happen to see an accident, perhaps you see a person who is injured and bleeding, that accident and those images will likely effect you all day and maybe for the weeks to come. The news works in the very same way. The negativity, the violence, the graphic photos and the stories about tragedies affect us all. |
