In 1998, Randy Alvarez launched the effort that would become The Wellness Hour. America’s Gold Standard for Health News, Since then, more than 1,000 episodes have been produced and have featured some of the nation’s leading medical specialists.
The medical news show has become a television and social media platform for doctors to discuss breakthroughs in their specialty with the communities they serve.
Alvarez has transformed the show’s website (www.wellnesshour.com) into an extensive on-line medical resource for both doctors and the public.

Tracy Sheffield:
Tracy Sheffield is our Media Buyer for The Wellness Hour; she works as a liaison between our clients and the broadcast networks or cable companies. Tracy graduated Cum Laude from San Francisco State University and is an experienced Office Administrator. The daughter of a US Navy Senior Chief, she has lived and / or worked in Oregon, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego. In her spare time she writes a blog about being a nerd girl. Tracy currently lives in North County with her husband and her very spoiled cat. She is very excited to be a part of The Wellness Hour team.
Erika Delgado:
Erika Delgado is the Assistant Producer and newest member of The Wellness Hour Team. Her role is to find interesting and qualified guests for the show. Upon graduating from California State University Long Beach, with a degree in Event Management, she began working as a Junior Publicist with Command PR West Coast Firm. While working as a publicist, the E! Entertainment reality TV series “The Spin Crowd,” produced by Kim Kardashian, documented the lives Erika and her five other co-workers. Last year Erika moved back to her hometown of Carlsbad, California where she resides with her husband and two adorable dogs. She is very eager to continue expanding her experience in production, not only with in her personal career, but also as a part of The Wellness hour Family.

Cory Alvarez:
Cory Alvarez is an editor at The Wellness Hour. He began shooting and editing videos on his school A.S.B. at age 15, and started working for The Wellness Hour at age 16. He has now worked with The Wellness Hour for over five years, and is going to school for Film at Brooks Institute. He is a certified STEADICAM operator. In his free time he enjoys watching movies, and is currently working on his first independent film.
Ashley Fierro:
Make-up Artist Ashley Fierro has ten years of experience in the business and is the owner of “My Girls on Film Studios.”
She has perfected the “natural” TV look, from years of working with many talented photographers, models and brands. She has a natural talent to bring out the inner beauty of all her clients.
