About Dr. Cedric RutlandDr. Rutland received his medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City where he continued his training and completed a residency in Internal Medicine. Dr. Rutland continued his education at the University of Kansas Medical Center in pulmonary and critical care and now specializes in Pulmonary and Critical Care medicine.At PPMG, Dr. Rutland’s main clinical expertise is focused on the evaluation of difficult cases in Interstitial Lung Disease and COPD. Dr. Rutland is specially trained in Endobronchial ultrasound “EBUS” in addition to bronchoscopy.As an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California Riverside, Dr. Rutland enjoys teaching and mentoring residents rotating at Riverside Community Hospital and at PPMG’s outpatient clinic.Dr. Rutland is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians and is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine & Pulmonary Medicine.
